Come and explore Portsmouth’s first community darkroom as we open the doors to our new home at Playland for a special Open Day!

Meet the Pompey Darkroom team, find out more about the darkroom and what's planned for this exciting new creative space, and ask us any questions. You can also try your hand at printing a contact sheet or a negative in our open taster sessions. These drop-in sessions will be running throughout the day.

Outside the darkroom, enjoy photography books, zines, snacks, and drinks, and connect with fellow photographers, artists, and enthusiasts.
