Darkroom
Pompey Darkroom has established Portsmouth’s first community darkroom in the heart of the city. Located at youth-led creative hub Playland, the darkroom will provide a communal space for photographers, artists and creatives to meet, work and exchange ideas.
As the city’s first dedicated analogue darkroom, it will be open to anyone engaged with film photography, from established photographers to those exploring analogue processes for the first time.
A public programme of workshops, events and exhibitions is currently in development. Further details will be announced in 2026.
