If you're queer and in Portsmouth, looking to meet new people and interested in photography at any level then join us on September 7th from 5pm for a sunset photo walk along Old Portsmouth and Southsea. 

We’ll be meeting at the Rose Gardens in Southsea, setting off through Canoe Lake and along the beach where we’ll be making our way slowly down to Spice Island where we’ll finish the walk and watch the sunset.

During the walk we’ll be thinking about the idea of queer safe spaces and how they may not be limited to physical locations; but can also manifest as moments, feelings, or experiences that evoke a sense of security, comfort, and authenticity led by artist Eddie Stenstrom (he/him).

We will also have a number of entry DSLR camera’s for people to borrow on the walk alongside 3 facilitators who are on hand to help and guide you in using them. Or feel free to bring your own camera of any type or just use your phone! (Please indicate in the booking form if you’d like to use one so we don’t end up bringing too many or not enough)
